A method was developed for the synthesis of tetraethylene glycol divinyl ether on the basis of the reaction of di(2-chloroethyl) ether with 2-vinyloxyethanol under the conditions of phase transfer catalysis.The method can be used for the synthesis of the divinyl ethers of other oligoethylene glycols.
