Single cyclized molecule structures from RAFT homopolymerization of multi-vinyl monomers
We explore a kinetically controlled strategy to suppress the gelation in the homopolymerization of multi-vinyl monomers (MVMs) via RAFT polymerization. We report the generation of 3D single cyclized polymer structures from the RAFT process, which significantly contradicts the classic F-S theory. This approach enables synthesis of a new generation of nanosize macromolecular architectures. The Royal Society of Chemistry 2012.
An acetal-based polymeric crosslinker with controlled pH-sensitivity
Even though collagen hydrogels have been used in many biomedical applications due to their unique characteristics, they lack in mechanical stability and resistance to enzymatic degradation. Aiming at the elimination of these drawbacks, collagen hydrogels
Acetal-linked branched poly(dimethyl-aminoethyl methacrylate) as an acid cleavable gene vector with reduced cytotoxicity
An acid labile branched PDMAEMA/acetal copolymer with amino group was synthesized by the DE-ATRP and followed by Michael addition. The degradation of the polymer was strongly pH-dependent. High nucleic acid transfection efficiency with low cytotoxicity wa
