- Synthesis, reactions and antimicrobial activity of some new 1,3,4-oxadiazoles, 1,2,4-triazoles and 1,3,4-thiadiazines derived from pyrazole

New 1,3,4-oxadiazoles, 1,2,4-triazoles and 1,3,4-thiadiazines containing a pyrazolyl moiety 7-14 were prepared using ethyl 5-amino-1-phenyl-1H-pyrazole-3- carboxylate 1 as a starting material. The newly synthesized compounds were screened for their in vitro anti-bacterial and anti-fungal activity.

1-Phenylpyrrazolopyrrolopyrazine and its 5-aza analogue were synthesized from ethyl 5-amino-1-phenylpyrazole-4-carboxylate.Additional azolo ring annelations on the pyrazine part of the first heterocycle afforded new tetracyclic systems with two common nitrogen atoms.
