The coordination polymers of azelaic acid-bis-(phenyl hydrazide) and azelaic acid-bis-(2,4-dinitrophenyl hydrazide) have been prepared by the reaction of the ligands with the acetates of Mn(II), Co(II), Ni(II), Cu(II) and Zn(II) in dimethylformamide-ethanol (4:1) medium.Thermal stability of each polymer has been investigated by thermogravimetric analysis.Characterization of these polymers has been carried out on the basis of elemental analysis, reflectance spectral (electronic), infrared spectral and magneic moment data.
