In the total synthesis of potent hepatotoxic alkaloid 7-epicylindrospermopsin by intramolecular 1,3-dipolar cycloaddition and nitroaldol reaction.To prepare differentially functionalized diaminoglutamic acids via radical reaction of selenide with methyl 2-acetamidoacrylate.
