Cedarwood oil Specification

The Cedarwood oil (virginia) with CAS registry number of 8000-27-9 is also known as cedar and cedrusatlanticaoil. The systematic name is oils, cedarwood. Its classification codes are Natural Product; Skin / Eye Irritant; TSCA UVCB. In addition, this chemical is a light yellow to brown oily liquid and should be stored in sealed containers in cool, dry place.

Preparation of Cedarwood oil (virginia): tree trunks, roots or scraps of juniper are usually used as raw material. Cut wood into pieces of 4-6mm in cross-sectional size. Crude oil is obtained by steam distillation.

Uses of Cedarwood oil (virginia): it is used as spices and microscope oil. The product is a important spice to deploy soap and cosmetics fragrance especially in the sandalwood-based sperm. The chemical can be used as glass cleaner of microscopy, optical and lens oil agent.
