Nanjing Hongbaoli Co., Ltd., which was primarily restructured from former Nanjing Polyurethane Chemical Plant in 1987, was founded by directional raised methods as a joint stock limited company on June 23, 1994. It is specially engaged in researching, developing, producing and marketing Polyol and Isopropanolamine series of products. It is now the main supplier of rigid foam system polyols in China, among TOP 500 enterprises in Chinese chemical industry, one of the TOP 50 enterprises in Chinese chemical industrial synthetic resin and among TOP 500 Chinese highest economic benefits enterprises. The main products of Polyether Polyols are widely applied as heat insulation and preservation materials in refrigerator, freezer, container, refrigerator car (storeroom), construction board, petrifaction pipe, water heater, construction spray and other fields.

There are 100 professional technicians are working on polyurethane rigid system polyol and isopropanolamine production craft and series products research in company technique center, which is recognized as Jiangsu provincial enterprise techinique center by Jiangsu Economic and Trade Committee in 2005. It developed and produced HCFC-141b, cyclopentane, cyclopentane/isopentane, all water, HFC-245fa and HFC-245fa/365mfc Freon-free system polyols, which took the lead in upgrading from Freon-high, Freon-low to Freon free eras in domestic industry. Meanwhile according to the refrigerator and freezer market demands, it developed low K-value, low density, low index and fast demoulding system polyols, which appraised by lots of customers.

Cyclopentane Freon free system polyols are pointed as National Key Torch Plan Project, as national important new products authenticated by National Science and Technology Department, and “Nine-five” National Technology Innovation Excellent Project Award.  Cyclopentane/isopentane freon free system polyol is listed in National Important Torch Plan Project. All water foaming Freon free system polyol is National Sparkle Plan Project and National Torch Plan Environment Construction Project in 2006. HFC-25fa Freon free system polyols and 1 million square meters polyurethane outer wall decorate heat preservation board per year project is listed into National Sparkle Plan Project.
　　
At present, 7 technologies developed by Hongbaoli independently have got national patents, in which one is invent patent, 18 have been accepted and heard by the National Patent Bureau, 8 have been passed through provincial technology identification, and 17 technical achievements are applied in industrial scale production. Hongbaoli passed ISO9000, ISO14000 and OHSAS18000, as one of the first companies in domestic chemical industry market.
