Qingdao Runxing Photoelectric Material Co.,Ltd., established in 2002, is one of the ten subsidiary companies exclusively invested by SHANDONG RUNXING INVESTMENT GROUP, who are running on fields of real estate, chemicals & furniture etc. The company is engaged in chemical researching, producing and trading with R&D center and International Trade Department in Qingdao, and producing base in Zhanhua county, Shandong. There are almost 50 professional talents in the R&D center, more than 10 employees in the International Trade Department and 600 workers in the producing base. Till now, Qingdao Runxing Photoelectric Material Co.,Ltd. has successfully researched out over 20 key Liquid crystal materials and a dozen Azo-compounds, as well as some Polyurethane materials, Intermediates of pharmaceuticals and pesticides.

Zhanhua plant has already been certified by ISO9001 and ISO14001 system and has capacity of total 130,000 tons per year, including 100,000 tons of chlorine-alkali , 20,000 tons of blowing agent AC , 7,000 tons of Hydrazine Hydrate , 2,000 tons of 2,2'-Azodiisobutyronitrile (CAS NO. 78-67-1), 500 tons of 2,2'-Azobis-(2-methylbutyronitrile) and 500 tons of Dimethyl 2,2'-Azobis(2-methyl propionate) with CAS registry number of 2589-57-3. In 2006, the exportation has reached $ 20 million.

Meanwhile, Qingdao Runxing Photoelectric Material Co.,Ltd. has established technological cooperation with several domestic and overseas specialized institutions, including Qingdao University of Science & Technology, China Ocean University, Xi’an Modern Chemistry Research Institute and Tyger Scientific, Inc, USA, etc.
