Hubei Yihua Chemical Industry Co., Ltd. (abbreviated as "Yihua"), located in Yichang City,  mainly engaged in chemical fertilizer, chemical products production and sales, and it is an important enterprises in Hubei Province,  as well as an important base for the development of modern industry in Yichang City.

Hubei Yihua's products include three major areas of fertilizers, chemicals, thermal and  more than 10 varieties, it has an annual output of 400,000 tons of synthetic ammonia, 60 tons of urea (including large granular urea, 250,000 tons), 3 billion kWh of electricity, 30,000 tons of lead pentaerythritol. Yihua is  largest pentaerythritol manufacturers in Asia and one of the largest  Urea manufacturers in China. Yihua's urea products has been awarded  "National Inspection-free Product", and exported to USA, Singapore and other countries; pentaerythritol has the national market share of 33%, are also exported to South Korea, Japan and other countries.

Hubei Yihua's predecessor was Hubei Yichang Chemical Factory,  which was founded in 1977. In 1992, it transformed into Hubei Yihua Chemical Industry Co., Ltd. In July 1996, the Company issued RMB 1635 million common shares to the public, and successfully listed on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange in August 1996. Hubei Yihua is the first fertilizer Listed company, called "China's nitrogen fertilizer first unit." The company's current share capital structure: the total share capital are 213,880,370 shares, state-owned shares 29.40%(62,875,822 shares); social corporate shares 19.71%(42,154,183 shares); common stock 50.89%(108,850,365 shares).
