Advanced Aromatics, L. P. was in the business of chemical production in 1973 and began producing Naphthalene in 1984. Now, it is one of the largest refined Naphthalene producers in the world and also the world's largest tetrahydroNaphthalene producer. In North America, Advanced Aromatics is the only manufacturer to make more than one grade of high-quality, petroleum-derived Naphthalene with cas registry number of 91-20-3. It makes three grades: 78°C Naphthalene, 79°C Naphthalene, 80°C Naphthalene, as well as derivatives TetrahydroNaphthalene with cas registry number of 119-64-2 and DecahydroNaphthalene with cas registry number of 91-17-8, and a growing line of unique aromatic solvents called Advasol®. Advanced Aromatics produces more than 200 million pounds of product annually which was delivered via barges, rail cars, tank trucks, and drums. And in the last 10 years, it has more than doubled its output.

Advanced Aromatics operates a 16-acre plant 24 hours a day, 365 days a year with fewer than 100 employees.The sales office is located in the Galleria area of Houston, Texas.
