Almost colorless; odorless liquid. Fp range 4.0–7.0C, bp range 232–235C, d 1.067–1.074, refr index 1.476–1.478 (25C), flash p 263F (128C). Miscible with water, ethanol, and acetone; sparingly soluble in benzene. Technical butenediol is predominantly the cis isomer. Combustible. |
