    Detailed information:
    Formation of p-amino or p-hydroxyphenylarsonic acids by heating aromatic amines or phenols with arsenic acid. The arsonylation requires an active hydrogen atom, and is practically limited to the benzene series. Apart from para substitution, a small amount of ortho arsonylation is observed, particularly when the para position is blocked.
