D 0.92. Vulcanizates have tensile strength up to 2000 psi (unreinforced) and 3000 psi (reinforced). Service temperatures range from −55 to +204C. Good abrasion resistance, excellent impermeability to gases, high dielectric constant, excellent resistance to aging and sunlight, superior shock-absorbing and vibration-damping qualities. Resistance to oils and greases only fair. Will support combustion. |
