Action of hydrochloric acid on cesium oxide and crystallization.

Pure; low optical density; single crystals.
Use:
Brewing; preparation of other cesium compounds; mineral waters; evacuation of radio tubes (positive ions supplied at surface of filament); for a density gradient in ultracentrifuge separations; fluorescent screens; contrast medium.
