(2) A notice required to appear on a food product indicating its composition and nutritional value (RDA), or on a pharmaceutical or household product stating its hazardous properties. (3) A radioactive isotope or fluorescent dye added to a chemical compound to trace its course and behavior through a series of reactions, usually in living organisms.
