Derivation:
From chlorobenzene Grignard reagent and methyltrichlorosilane or from benzene and methyldichlorosilane.
Hazard:
Flammable, moderate fire risk, reacts strongly with oxidizing materials. Irritant.
Use:
Manufacture of silicones.
