Any of several block copolymers of propylene/EPDM or styrene/ethylene-butylene. Cross-linking results from crystallization of polypropylene or polystyrene segments. Since this is reversible on heating, the product is thermoplastic. Its chief use is in oil-resistant wire and cable insulation.
