By heating zirconium oxide and coke in an electric furnace.
Grade:
Technical.
Hazard:
Powder or dust will ignite spontaneously. TLV: 5 mg(Zr)/m3.
Use:
Incandescent filaments, abrasive, cermet component, high-temperature electrical conductor, refractory, metal cladding, cutting tool component.
