Dipotassium hydrogenphosphate Uses

Dipotassium phosphate (CAS NO.7758-11-4) is used in medicine, fermentation, bacterial culture and taking of potassium pyrophosphate. It can be used as common reagents and buffer for analysis but also for the pharmaceutical industry.

Dipotassium hydrogenphosphate Production

Constantly stirring, add 30% phosphoric acid to potassium carbonate solution, and in the end as the pH value of 8.5 ~ 9.0 (phenolphthalein indicator was just red), the liquid was concentrated to 120 ~ 124 °C, after filter to remove insolubles, and then cooled to 20 °C the following crystallization, centrifugal separation and drying products, and processes in the mother liquor sent to Reuse
K2CO3+H3PO4→K2HPO4+H2O+CO2
