Production method of this chemical: The Disiloxane, 1-ethenyl-1,1,3,3,3-pentamethyl- could be obtained by the reactants of chloro-trimethyl-silane and chloro-dimethyl-vinyl-silane. This reaction needs the reagent of H2O, and the solvent of diethyl ether. The yield is 60 %.

Uses of this chemical: The Disiloxane, 1-ethenyl-1,1,3,3,3-pentamethyl- could react with pentamethyl-disiloxane, and obtain the 1,1-bis-(1,1,3,3,3-pentamethyl-disiloxanyl)-ethane and 1,2-Bis-(trimethylsiloxy-dimethylsilyl)-ethan. This reaction needs the catalyst of Pt. In addition, this reaction should be taken for 20 minutes at the temperature of 50 °C.
