The reaction of TiCl4 with (C6H5)2P(CH2CH2O)nH (2) and K<(Pz*)3BH> affords the complexes Tp*TiCl2(OCH2CH2)nP(C6H5)2 (n = 1-3) (3), Tp*TiCl<(OCH2CH2)nP(C6H5)2>2 (n = 1-3) (4) and Tp*Ti<(OCH2CH2)nP(C6H5)2>3 (n = 1-3) (5) which are then converted into the heterobinuclear complexes 8 and 9.Similarly, we succeeded in the synthesis of the heterobimetallacycles Tp*TiCl 2 (10) and (CO)4Mo 2 (n = 1-2) (11).The shortest distance between Ti and Mo according to the crystal structure analysis is 5.393 Angstroem.
