Ir center, counteranions derived from silver additives and diazonium
salts were not included in the present DFT calculations for simplicity.
On the other hand, a more comprehensive computation study to inꢀ
clude counteranions gave us the identical mechanistic conclusion to
reveal that the presence of counteranions displays only negligible
effects on the calculated parameters of the carbonꢀaryl bondꢀforming
stage in the present arylation (see Supporting Information for details).
