The IUPAC name of Hydroxylamine-O-sulfonic acid is amino hydrogen sulfate. Preparation and Uses of Hydroxylamine-O-sulfonic acid: It can be obtained by (NH3OH)2SO4 and H2SO4·SO3: (NH3OH)2SO4 + 2H2SO4·SO3→2NH2OSO3H + 3H2SO4. This chemical is used as intermediate in pharmaceutical and pesticide. It is also used as polymerization catalysts and amination reagent. Besides, it can react with alkali to get HN=NH.
