Preparation of N,N'-Dimethyl-3,3'-dithiodipropionamide: this chemical can be prepared by 3-Mercapto-N-methyl-propionamide and 2-Methyl-isothiazolidin-3-one.

Uses of N,N'-Dimethyl-3,3'-dithiodipropionamide: it is used for producting intermediates of Kathon fungicides. Besides, it can used for producting 2-Methyl-isothiazolidin-3-one.
