1.General Description: Crystal form that turns red on exposure to heat or light.
2.Reactivity Profile: Behaves as a weak acid in solution.
3.Health Hazard : Physostigmine salicylate (1:1) (CAS NO.57-64-7) is similar to physostigmine. It is classified as super toxic. The probable oral lethal dose (humans) is less than 5 mg/kg or a taste for a 150 lb. person. It is a cholinesterase inhibitor.
4.Fire Hazard: When heated to decomposition, Physostigmine salicylate (1:1) (CAS NO.57-64-7) emits toxic fumes of nitrogen oxides.
