The IUPAC name of Potassium palladium chloride is dipotassium tetrachloropalladium(2-). With the CAS registry number 10025-98-6 and EINECS 233-049-3, it is also named as Palladate(2-), tetrachloro-, dipotassium, (SP-4-1)-. The classification codes are Mutation data and Skin / Eye Irritant. It is reddish brown crystalline solid which is stable and incompatible with strong oxidizing agents. When heated to decomposition it emits toxic fumes of K2O and Cl.
