Uses
Dinervonoyllecithin is used in a a cannulation device for administering ophthalmic delivery and ophthalmic drug compositions. 24:1 (Cis) PC (1,2-dinervonoyl-sn-glycero-3-phosphocholine) may be used in planar bilayer lipid membranes (BLMs) to study the effect of lipid chain length on single-channel properties of C-terminal colicin peptide (P178). It may also be used in planar bilayers to explore the single channel activities of BKCa (hSlo α-subunit) channels. 24:1 (Cis) PC has been used:in the preparation of multivesicular liposomes (DepoFoam) formulation with protein or peptide drugsin the formation of planar bilayer lipid membranesfor analyzing the phase transition of giant unilamellar dinervonoylphosphocholine (DNPC) vesicles by N-4-nitrobenz-2-oxa-1,3-diazol (NBD)-labelled fluorophore in confocal microscopy
