calendula extract (Calendula officinalis)(marigold) is an emollient said to have healing, wound-healing, soothing, antiseptic, antiitching, and anti-inflammatory properties. It can be effectively used in cases of oily and/or delicate skin as well as for acne. The extract is obtained from the calendula blossom.
