  • Uses Treatment of acute anemia (component of an intravascular temporary oxygen carrier that is intended to enhance oxygen transport). Perfluorodecyl bromide (CAS# 307-43-7) forms perfluorocarbon droplets stabilized by an emulsifier, called perfluorocarbon nanoemulsion. These nanoemulsions are used to prepare marker agents in 19F Magnetic Resonance Imaging, and function as oxygen carriers.
