Description
Mildiomycin is a nucleoside antibiotic isolated from the culture filtrate of
Streptoverticillium rimofaciens B-98891 (17). C19H30N8O9
(514.5). Basic and hygroscopic. Solubility: In water
580 g/L; in methanol 480; ethanol 160 (mg/L). Insoluble in
ethyl acetate and ethyl ether. Susceptible to photodegradation
by sunlight.

Uses
Specifically active against the powdery mildew pathogens;
excellent curative activity on the disease of various plants
in vivo.Used in practice for the control of powderymildews
on rose, spindle tree, and Indian lilac.
