  • Description Amino-PEG6-azide is a water soluble heterobifunctional PEG linker containing an amino group with an azide group. The amino group is reactive with carboxylic acids, activated NHS esters, carbonyls (ketone, aldehyde) etc. The azide group can react with alkyne, BCN, DBCO via Click Chemistry to yield a stable triazole linkage.
  • Uses AZIDO-PEG-AMINE is a heterobifunctional polyethyleneglycol (PEG) derivative used in the preparation low-fouling, biofunctionalized, and biodegradable click capsules; a useful reagent used in the construction of intramolecular linkers. O-(2-Aminoethyl)-O′-(2-azidoethyl)pentaethylene glycol has been used in the synthesis of Alexa568-azide, a fluorescent azide that can undergo click staining reaction with 5-ethynyluridine-labeled cellular RNA.
