Uses
Glycerides, C14-18 mono- and di- is used for baked goods to improve volume and texture, on dairy products to improve dispersibility and as an emulsion stabilizer. Aldo(R) MS #2 KFG is used for food applications requiring higher quality mono- and diglycerides with lower melting points, as anti-sticking and softening agent. Aldo(R) MSLG KFG is a Glyceryl Stearate with a low free glycerin level. It has a variety of uses in the food and personal care industries. Lonzest(R) GMS-C has bee developed specifically for use in the cosmetic, toiletries, and pharmaceutical industries. It is functional as a nonionic, oil soluble surfactant and is an excellent auxiliary emulsifier in o/w emulsions. Lonzest(R) GMS-LG is suggested for coatings (slip-agent, anti-tack agent in hot melt adhesives), for paper (emulsifier) and for cosmetics (emulsifier).
