  • Description Nigericin Na (28643-80-3) is a polyether ionophore which disrupts membrane potential and stimulates ATPase activity in mitochondria. Induces apoptosis resulting from intracellular acidification. Ion selectivity for nigericin Na is K+> Rb+> Cs+>>Na+. Cell permeable.
