Uses
Lanthanum(III) isopropoxide finds application in asymmetric catalysis. It forms complex with an (S,S)-phenyl-linked-binaphthol ,which enhances a catalytic 1,4-addition of malonate to cyclic and acyclic enones. It acts as a co-catalyst with copper fluoride-triphenylphosphine in catalytic allylation of ketoimines. Complex with an (S,S)-phenyl-linked-binaphthol which promotes a catalytic 1,4-addition of malonate to cyclic and acyclic enones. Co-catalyst with CuF-triphenylphosphine in a general catalytic allylation of ketoimines.
