N-Acetyl-Asp-Glu-Val-Asp p-nitroanilide is an chromogenic substrate for Caspase 3 and CCP-32. N-Acetyl-Asp-Glu-Val-Asp p-nitroanilide has been used as a chromogenic substrates for determining caspase-3 and caspase-8 activities in liver tissue homogenates and caspase 3 activity in aortic vascular smooth muscle cells and neuroblastoma cell lines.
