Use of this chemical: Triisopropylchlorosilane could react with pyrazine to produce 1,4-bis-triisopropylsilanyl-1,4-dihydro-pyrazine. This reaction could happen in the presence of the reagent of potassium metal and the solvent of tetrahydrofuran, and it requires the reaction time of 24 hours, with its yield of 70%.
