The production of BARIUM CHROMATE(VI)(10294-40-3).
Barium chloride barium chromate can be formed with the precipitation reaction, the reaction equation is as follows:
BaCl2 + Na2CrO4 → BaCrO4 ↓ +2 NaCl
Operation method:Production of barium chromate is based on barium chloride [BaCl2.2H2O]: sodium dichromate [Na2Cr2O7 .2H2O]: sodium hydroxide [NaOH] = 244:149:40, raw materials and the water should be avoided include sulfate, so as to avoid forming insoluble barium sulfate mixed in the finished product in the lower levels of barium chromate. Sodium hydroxide before the reaction with sodium dichromate sodium chromate, sodium hydroxide should be exactly the amount of added sodium dichromate in and acidity, should prevent more alkaline. Sodium chromate can be diluted to the relative density of 1.11 solution, and test whether the existence of sulfate, if sulfuric acid pole can pre-join a small dose of barium chloride to precipitate barium sulfate is generated by clarification or filtration to remove. Barium chloride solution into the sodium chromate solution, constantly stirring, producing chromic acid barium precipitation, until the filtrate was precipitated with water colors, by adding barium chloride solution until the precipitation does not produce. Pigment paste obtained can be used filter press filtration, and washing to the washing water contains only a very small amount of chlorine in the root so far.
Production of barium potassium chromate is used by dry to powder, barium carbonate powder, mixing with potassium dichromate after the converter in the calcination, the reaction equation is as follows:
BaCO3 + K2Cr2O7 → BaCrO4 .K2CrO4 + CO2 ↑
Operation method: the ratio of potassium dichromate with the barium carbonate 1.2:1.72, pre-need milling crushed, then mixed, for brick kiln calcination to start calcination temperature 350 ℃, calcined phase up to 650 ~ 700 ℃, semi-finished products through the cooling after calcination.After crushing and packaging ,it is made.
