Safety Profile
Moderately toxic by ingestion. A skin and severe eye irritant. Used in boiler water condensate corrosion control. Dangerous fire hazard when exposed to heat or flame. Can react vigorously with oxidizers. To fight fire, use foam, CO2, dry chemical. When heated to decomposition it emits toxic fumes of NOx.
