Uses
2,4-Dinitroanisol (119-27-7) is used as a dye intermediate for the production of large red-based RC ( 2 -methoxy-5-nitroaniline hydrochloride ). In medicine, it is also used for killing eggs. It is useful for moths, lice, cicadas mantis, furniture or a carpet beetle eggs.
