For example, it can react with Maleic acid anhydride to get 2-(Tris(trimethylsilyl)silyl)butanedioic anhydride. The reaction occurs with reagent Azoisobutyronitrile and solvent Toluene at temperature of 90 °C. The yield is 89 %.
