Preparation: this chemical is prepared by Vinylmagnesium chloride. The reaction needs reagent SiCl3H and solvent Tetrahydrofuran. The reaction time is 12 hours with reaction temperature of 75 °C.
Uses: it is used to produce other chemicals. For example, it is used to produce Trivinylchlorosilane and Trichloro-methyl-silane. Other condition of this reaction is reaction time of 30 s at 500 °C. The yield is about 41.5 %.
