Uses of Acetic-1-14C acid,1,1'-anhydride: it is used to produce (1-(14)C-acetyl)-2-acetoxyphenyl methyl sulfide by reaction with 2-methylsulfanyl-phenol. The reaction occurs with reagent pyridine and solvent CH2Cl2 at ambient temperature. The yield is about 35%.
