Preparation: this chemical can be prepared by 2-methyl-butan-2-ol, 1,1-dichloro-ethene at the temperature of 11 °C. This reaction will need reagent 96-98% H2SO4 with the reaction time of 1.5 hours. The yield is about 75%.
