Uses of Benzene,1-chloro-5-methyl-2,4-dinitro-: it can be used to produce 4-chloro-6-methyl-m-phenylenediamine. This reaction will need reagent of aq. HCl, SnCl₂. The reaction time is 1 hour with reaction temperature of 70 - 75 °C. The yield is about 50%.
