Production
Bromination of 2,2,6,6-tetramethyl-4-oximinopiperidine by N-bromosuccinimide and subsequent oxidation yields 2,2,6,6-Tetramethylnitrosopiperidine (CAS NO.6130-93-4) .
The reaction of 2,2,6,6-tetramethyl-4-nitropiperidine with iodine gives2,2,6,6-Tetramethylnitrosopiperidine (CAS NO.6130-93-4) .
Oxidation of 2,2,6,6-tetramethyl-4-bromo- and 2,2,6,6-tetramethyl-4-iodo-4-nitropiperidines by perbenzoic acid yields the corresponding nitroxyl radicals .
