Preparation of Acetic acid,praseodymium(3+) salt (3:1): Add 10 g praseodymium oxide(Pr6O11) to 500 mL 50% acetic acid solution, heated in sand bath. If there is still a small amount of insoluble matter after 1 or 2 days, filtered into a clear liquid, steamed until most of the water evaporated at 75 °C in water bath, cooling to get sticky things. At last, dried by vacuum to get hydrated praseodymium acetate (Ⅲ).
