Preparation: this chemical can be prepared by thiourea and 2-chloro-2-isopropyl-oxirane. This reaction will need reagent triethylamine, molecular sieves 4 Angstroem and solvent CH₂Cl₂, methanol. The reaction time is 6 hours with reaction temperature of 40 °C. The yield is about 85%.
