Uses of Stannane,tributyl(1-ethoxyethenyl)-: it is used to produce 1-(4-nitro-phenyl)-ethanone by reaction with 1-bromo-4-nitro-benzene. The reaction occurs with reagent 5percent HCl and solvent PdCl₂(PPh₃)₂ at the temperature of 100 °C for 20 hours. The yield is about 91%.

Stannane,tributyl(1-ethoxyethenyl)- is used to produce 1-(4-nitro-phenyl)-ethanone by reaction with 1-bromo-4-nitro-benzene.
