Measurements are presented of two-photon dissociative excitation cross sections for InCl and InBr for photolysis with a 248 nm KrF laser source.Values of the two-photon coupling parameter ?/I (cm4/W) of 4.9 * 10-27, 2.4 * 10-28, 7.9 * 10-28, and 7.8 * 10-28 are measured for the respective processes: 2hv + InCl -> In(5s26s) + Cl, 2hv + InCl -> In(5s25d) + Cl, 2hv + InBr -> In(5s26s) + Br, and 2hv + InBr -> In(5s25d) + Br.
