The invention discloses a bishydroxycoumarin compound and its antibacterial application. The structure of the bishydroxycoumarin compound is as shown in the formula I. in the formula I, R is 3-NO2-4-OH, 4-OCH2Ph, 4-CH(CH3)2, 4-N(C2H5)2, 4-C(CH3)3, 3,5-2Br-4-OH, 4-SO2CH3, 3-OH-4-OCH3 or 3-OPh. The application is an application of the above bishydroxycoumarin compound used as an antibacterial agent of staphylococcus aureus or staphylococcus epidermidis.
